What patients say on Google

“The psychiatrist is great, respectful and super kind. However, the two women at the front desk are some of the rudest and judgemental people I’ve ever encountered. Everytime I’ve come in they have an attitude with me, they act like doing their job is a huge inconvenience and make sure you feel like you’re wasting their time. On the phone they’re even worse, snarky remarks and an attitude everytime I’ve called. Do better. This is a facility focusing on poor mental health, the least you could do is be kind and respectful. You never know what someone is going through.”

“We have worked with many different mental health professionals over the years but Lindsay has been the best. Sometimes you can get office staff that are unhelpful or steer you the wrong way but it’s expected. My recommendation is that with any healthcare provider you need to be vigilant, ask questions, and check for understanding. When you show up with helpful information for them to work with, it goes well. I can’t speak for therapists or anyone else but Lindsay has been a blessing to work with.”

“While some of the employees are amazing, their upper management is absolutely running that place in the ground. Head of administration, Jessica Johnson, is the rudest, most conceited person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Considering the clientele they are catering to, compassion and empathy should be part of their vocabulary but far from it. I will be reaching out to other entities in regards to this as it's in reference to my child.”

“DO NOT USE CENTERSTONE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. THEY WILL PUSH YOU OUT AS SOON AS YOU RAISE CONCERNS AND LET YOU GO THROUGH WITHDRAWALS AND MAKE YOU GO WEEKS WITHOUT YOUR MEDICATIONS. I have been a patient of Centerstone and of Lindsay’s since at least May 2019. I have truly loved working with Lindsay, she is the best provider I have ever had. She listens to my concerns and trusts that I know my mind and body and explains everything to me in terms I can understand. However. Centerstone has turned into a truly awful company. It started in 2020 with the third party billing system then the third party scheduling system. I paid every single bill I received in full and on time. They told me I was responsible for bills I never received and gave me differing amounts every time I spoke to someone. Thankfully that got resolved. But the biggest issue has been after multiple years as a patient they stopped sending me reminders to call them to make a new appointment and every time I talk to someone the policies have changed, and they sent them for years without fault. Lindsay began raising concerns with higher ups for me and other clients as I was not the only one having issues. They slowly started dismissing my issues and complaints and started pushing me out. I could no longer get timely appointments when I called and often had to go through medication withdrawals because they couldn’t/wouldn’t schedule me on time or refill my medications or whatever new problem popped up that month. Today I called because I needed a medication refill and my pharmacy had requested it from them August 23rd and never got a response. The woman at the front desk, Andrea, was incredibly rude from the get go and always is when I call in. I’m told I can’t get an emergency refill to get me through until I can see Lindsay again because I last saw her in February this year and I have to come see her (I’ve been stable on these medications since at least 2020) so she transferred me to scheduling. Scheduling then told me they were unable to schedule me because I had been discharged as a patient as of August 9th because I hadn’t seen her since February. I was never told or notified or warned about this and I’ve gone this long without seeing her in the past and have never had this problem. I’m told they can transfer me to customer care and reinstate me and schedule me for my appointment. Customer care then told me it had to be a new in person intake appointment. I had telehealth set up with Lindsay because I’m no longer in Cleveland and I liked her so much as a provider so we had this worked out. I can’t drive to Cleveland because I work during the week and I can’t afford to take a whole day off for one appointment. So Lindsay’s nurse called me back later and she implied I was lying about the medication I had left and informed me I would have to go without my medication cold turkey. I have truly loved working with Lindsay. But it is with great sadness and relief I say I WILL NOT be working with Centerstone any longer. They have made this a NIGHTMARE. They have screwed with my mental health and my physical health and my medication schedule. I can’t do it anymore. PLEASE if you have any self respect (or hope to) GO ELSEWHERE!!!!”
